Lead Developer Frontend (m/f) for OptioPay GmbH

Optiopay is a fast growing Fintech start-up based in Berlin that is building worldwide the first payment solution software for marketing money by processing payments. We are seeking a passionate frontend developer who wants to make the next step.

Your Role

  • You will be part of our engineering team and take over full responsibility for all our different frontends.
  • You create functional, appealing and fast UIs (both desktop and mobile).
  • You develop wireframes, mockups or clickable prototypes for new frontends and features.
  • You will be working closely with our art director and product team to create a great user experience for our customers.
  • You perform qualitative (interviews, surveys) and quantitative (A/B, heatmaps) user research to validate hypotheses.

Your Profile

  • You have 3+ years experience in frontend development.
  • You have excellent knowledge in Javascript, HTML5 and CSS.
  • Good working knowledge of how to make a website responsive.
  • Prior experience with Sass, React and the Flux Architecture is a plus.
  • Heavy interest in UX design and the desire to bring the best user experience to our customers.
  • You speak English fluently. German is considered a plus.
