Head of Marketing (m/f)

OptioPay is a payment processor with a difference. Our software increases the value of any payment received by consumers from companies, by combining bank transfers with higher value gift cards. By integrating payments to employees or customers with effective marketing we aim to create a completely new, performance based, advertising channel. We are looking for a Head of Marketing to lead, inspire and drive our marketing team. Your Role

  • To manage our public relations by interacting positively and building relationships with the press and other influencers. Ultimately your aim is to establish OptioPay as a relevant and innovative solution for a variety of industries.
  • To create a scalable mechanism to generate high-value sales leads
  • To lead, expand and properly structure our inbound marketing strategy
  • To create, distribute and manage content marketing and sales assets. Specifically, you will be expected to generate qualified B2B leads in insurance, HR, e-commerce, marketing, energy and finance with high quality sales and informational content.
  • To overlook the entire German copywriting from Headline to small print.
  • Further to the above, to work with HubSpot Marketing and CRM software and have up to date knowledge of SEO techniques.
  • Managing day-to-day press work

Your Profile

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing or related field
  • You have 5+ years of experience in B2B sales generation and 3+ years of experience in digital/inbound marketing. This experience should include web and content marketing, SEO, content syndication and a strong PR network.
  • Experience in building and managing a marketing communications team. We’ll want to hear about how you have coached and motivated others in the past whilst attaining excellent results.
  • A strong understanding of market and customer buying behavior, segmentation frameworks and hands-on experience with segmentation projects.
  • Excellent grammar and working knowledge of the German language, verbal and/or written command of English language is a big plus.
