OptioPay is a payment processor with a difference. Our software increases the value of any payment received by consumers from companies, by combining bank transfers with higher value gift cards. By integrating payments to employees or customers with effective marketing we aim to create a completely new, performance based, advertising channel. We are looking for a Head of HR to lead, inspire and drive our HR team. Your Role
- Be fully accountable for all HR-related topics at OptioPay
- To standardize and optimize HR process
- To develop recruiting strategies, advise management about staffing needs and generate staffing plans
- To shape a comfortable and motivating organizational culture to attract potential candidates, motivate current employees and retain top talents
- To develop strategies for employer branding
- To lead job interviews, discover and setup new recruiting channels
- To participate in career fair and social networking events
- To work with Finance on HR budget and develop motivating reward strategies
- To develop performance management strategies and design performance evaluation system
- To develop strategies for learning and development
- To develop strategies to improve employee satisfaction and engagement
- To oversee and manage the work permit issues for foreign employees
- To consult management about controlling and lowering legal risks
- To lead the HR department, give helpful guidance and supervision
- To develop strategies and plans for scaling business to other European countries (eg. UK), and consulting the management about legal, compliance and localization issues in target countries
- To build up and manage the HRIS in Optiopay
- To continuously develop personal and professional skillsets and stay current with the latest industry innovations/trends
Our Requirements
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, human resources, business administration or related field
- You have 5 + years of experience in the field of HR and 3+ years of experience in scaling business to different countries
- You are fluent in both German and English and have excellent communication skills
- You have a positive and charming aura, and are passionate about inspiring people and convincing them
- You are able to have open communication with team members without hiding authority and build a high level of trust with all stakeholders and become the bridge between employees and management
- You have high degree of discretion and confidentiality
- You have excellent knowledge of German working law and regulations
- You have very strong people and organizational skills
- You have good analytical, problem solving, time management, conflict management, and negotiation skills
- You have rich experience in scaling business to different countries and are familiar with local labour regulations, compliance issues in target countries
- You are familiar with implementing HRIS and give training
