OptioPay is a payment processor with a difference. Our software increases the value of any payment received by consumers from companies, by combining bank transfers with higher value gift cards. By integrating payments to employees or customers with effective marketing we aim to create a completely new, performance based, advertising channel. Your Role
- As our head of Finance you will be responsible for all finance, accounting, reporting and Business Intelligence related topics within OptioPay
- To manage our yearly budget, which is currently in the region 4m EUR, by organising financial planning on a monthly and yearly basis; executing any decisions made efficiently and effectively
- To constantly collect, analyse and interpret quantitative financial data in order to facilitate better strategic and operational decision making
- To collaborate with international investors, ensuring that their informational needs are satisfied
- Optimisation of all financial processes and the creation of new processes where necessary
- To create and define Business Intelligence strategies and processes at the highest level
- As Head of Finance, you will be expected to build, motivate, develop and lead a team of employees
- You will become a key member of OptioPay’s management team, reporting directly to the founders and top management.
Our Requirements
- You have 3+ years of experience in Finance or related fields, preferably within a digital industry or as a management consultant
- You possess a Master’s degree, preferably with a focus on Finance, from a leading educational institution. We generally accept only those candidates whose marks were within the top 20% of students on their course.
- You have an analytical mindset, outstanding numerical ability and attention to detail
- As a seasoned Finance professional, you have an excellent grasp of Accounting (HGB, IFRS) and Taxation processes.
- You have Very good knowledge of MS Office, Excel in particular
- An independent worker, you are able to set your own schedule and tasks effectively and have a strong “hands-on” mentality with a focus on results
- You are in native or bilingual command of the German language and have excellent proven English skills; both written and verbal.
